About PJELLY Scholarships — First-Time & Return Students
PJELLY Scholarships. PJELLY scholarships are gap-support awards that help eligible students with remaining education-related costs. Awards are based on available funding and are not guaranteed. Funding may come directly from PeanutButterJelly and/or through peer-to-peer (P2P) community campaigns in which supporters voluntarily donate PJELLY tokens directly to a student's verified campaign wallet. PeanutButterJelly verifies student eligibility only — it does not collect, hold, or control any donated tokens, and it does not guarantee that any campaign will receive donations or reach any amount. All awards and donations are made in PJELLY tokens, a digital asset whose value can fluctuate; amounts received are not a fixed dollar value. PeanutButterJelly is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and P2P donations are personal gifts that are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. Recipients are responsible for any taxes that may apply to awards or gifts received and should consult a tax advisor.

My family has always valued hard work over comfort. My parents taught me that education isn’t just a path to success; it’s a responsibility — a way to lift others as we rise. That belief has fueled everything I do. When my school’s computer lab was closed due to budget cuts, I helped organize a weekend community tech club so younger students could keep learning. When I saw classmates struggle with math, I created free online tutorials using nothing but my phone and determination. Yet, despite the passion and progress, financial challenges have remained a heavy reality. I’ve worked part-time jobs, balanced family obligations, and cut back on personal expenses — all to keep this dream alive. A scholarship wouldn’t just ease that burden; it would allow me to focus fully on the work that truly matters — studying, innovating, and giving back. I’m applying for this scholarship because I believe in the power of opportunity. Not the kind that hands you success, but the kind that opens a door — a door that I am ready to walk through with gratitude, discipline, and purpose. In the end, my goal isn’t just to earn a degree. It’s to build that same bridge for others — the one that education built for me.
